RELOCATION RESIDENTIAL COMPOUNDS

The program calls for the design of a neighborhood park-setting, out in the desert of  Yanbu, KSA, where residence should feel at “home”, but still keep the budget in check.
The concept of PS#3, is derived from the “Village Square”; Where people interact and gather, thus promoting healthier life-style. The Center of the  “Village Square” is crowned by the “Village Mosque”. The overall shape of the scheme allows people to get to the “Village Center” either Walking or bicycling.
Type IV bldg. is the farthest structure, located near the entrance. The distance between type IV building to center of the Village is around 260 meters, and to the farthest point in the campus does not exceed 350 Meters, requiring a healthy adult to walk it in 3.7 minutes, or a 1.5 minutes bicycle ride.
